I am writting this in response to letter I received on Feb.21,2012. from Publish America's attorney, Victor Cretella.
I do not intend to comply with your demands. You can enforce all you want, as can I.
You have accused me of wrongfull behavior,of false and deparaging emails, of making defamatory statements,of having a
disregard for the thruth and of malice.
YOUR ACCUSATIONS ARE FALSE !!!!!
I sent YOUR promo to the US Consulate in Germany, I have their reply. I also have written proof from Edinberg International Book Fest, J K Rowlings, Disney, Parade Mag. L.H.J, Christian Booksellers Ass, and Graph Expo. All have been sent to an attorney and are on file. These consitute promo fraud, You are selling a service to your authors that you did not deliver.
I do not have to make any effort or provide any explamation for these claims as the written proof speaks for its self.
I never posted anything on my website that could not be backed up.
I WILL CONTINUE TO EXPOSE YOUR PROMO'S.
As for the case with Preditors and Editors, that had nothing to do with publish America, that was between your attorney and P&E.
so don't try that threat with me again, since I have received it many times before. You have also used that same with many other authors with complaints against Publish America.
Please be advised, your letter is posted on my site, and it has been reviewed on air. Copies are available to all Maryland agencies, all
Senator's, all Media.

According to a CBA contact, Publish America demands $49 to get on a list and in a catalogue that Publish America is giving to CBA and CBA will submit this list of authors/catalogue to all CBA members and because of this alleged contract the CBA member stores will buy from the authors listed." The "promotion" is supposedly in conjunction with the upcoming Christian Store Week. CBA encouraged us to warn our authors that this is a scam. It is not in any way a legitimate agreement with CBA.
